A dog-friendly, master-crafted cedar lodge with a stargazing hot tub, privately secluded in rural Cornwall with magnificent views over Dartmoor and the wild North coast in easy reach.
  • Sleeps: 4
  • Bedrooms: 2
  • Bathrooms: 2
  • Minimum stay: 3 nights

North Beer Lodge is a cedar-crafted, slate-roofed sanctuary for up to four guests and their dogs, privately secluded among pure Cornish nature for a soul-soothing sense of calm. Surrounded by grazing sheep and whispering trees, you’ll forget all about life’s everyday cares from the moment you arrive.

Yet there’s plenty of sustainable luxury to be found here, too. Owners Mary and Chris have seen to it that every detail is carefully covered, so all you have to do is breathe out, relax, and indulge.

Built by the master craftspeople at British Log Cabins, the first thing you’ll notice as you step inside North Beer Lodge is its towering, vaulted ceiling – then, the opulent statement lighting, and a myriad of unique, well-chosen accessories.

Unwind with a drink in the sumptuous open-plan living area, complete with beautiful log-work, a woodburner, and a Smart TV for laid-back evenings in. During the day, throw open the bifold doors… or better still, wander through them to the decking, from which you may get to see Dartmoor on a clear day.

(You’ll soon find these incredible big-sky views are an ideal accompaniment to morning coffee and afternoon fizz!).

If you’re heading outside, you’ll find the vast, grassy garden area is completely enclosed – so your dogs can run wild, free, and safe as you relax on a lounger or at the picnic table. Better still, the abundance of private space here means there’s no restriction on the size or number of dogs who get to accompany you on this well-deserved, wow-factor holiday.

Back inside, there’s a well-equipped kitchen to make holiday catering feel effortless, especially when you’ll also be provided with a welcome hamper packed with mouth-watering local produce.
