An off-grid, dog-friendly hideaway that's privately secluded amongst the treetops, above a sparkling lake in a sleepy Devon hamlet.
  • Sleeps: 2
  • Bedroom: 1
  • Bathroom: 1
  • Minimum stay: 1 night

It’s getting harder and harder to find a magical private space, in which you can gently disconnect from the rest of the world.

It’s harder still to find a magical private space that’s rich in natural beauty… with the only sounds coming from singing birds, the gentle splashes of wildlife on water, and the soft rustling of leaves on the breeze.

Yet all this is exactly what you and your loved one (and your best four-legged friend) will discover at Yeworthy Eco Treehouse. The friendly owners will personally meet and deliver you to the tranquil retreat in a Jeep, which you will then have full access to for the duration of your stay.

Remotely secluded amongst the treetops, above a shimmering Devon lake, you’ll be the only people for miles around in this unique, off-grid hideaway… though there’ll be plenty of birds, geese, and wild deer to keep you company!

Not only can you curl up in the treehouse’s downy double bed, covered with plump cushions and soft pillows, you’ll also have use of the scenic summerhouse, and a romantic rowing boat to help you glide along the lake without a care in the world.

Ensuring these exceptionally beautiful surroundings are preserved, your retreat is completely unplugged, with a soft-glowing log-burner for heating, and fresh drinking water from a bowser. There’s a gas stove for cooking and boiling water, and an eco-friendly sawdust loo (please note, there are no shower facilities.)

Sit out on the sun-dappled balcony with a glass of wine, as you get to know each-other all over again… surrounded by lake-and-nature views so serene and beautiful, even the most hectic of souls will feel compelled to switch off and unwind.
