Nautilus is an architect-designed, family and dog-friendly hillside haven that ‘floats’ above the breath-taking Pembrokeshire coast, with panoramic windows for superlative views
  • Sleeps: 6
  • Bedrooms: 3
  • Bathrooms: 2
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

Nautilus was designed by the renowned, anonymous architect known as ‘Lego Banksy’ – who is also the brainchild behind Channel Four’s spectacular Grand Designs-featured Lifeboat House in Tenby.

The peaceful and imaginative retreat is perfectly shaped to match the curve of the hillside, expertly elevated on a series of steel buttresses for a sense of ‘floating’ above the magnificent Pembrokeshire coast below. Meanwhile, panoramic windows showcase superlative sea-and-countryside views from every room – the living space also features a glass-balustraded balcony and a telescope for maximum enjoyment!

Up to six guests and two dogs can be accommodated here, in two kingsize bedrooms and a comfy twin. After a sound night of slumber, sit back and watch the sun gently rising over the sea, before heading out for a windswept ramble along the mesmerising coastal path… a mere 10 minutes away. The ancient village of Penally and its secluded beach are in easy wandering distance, too, as is bustling Tenby.

When you return, Nautilus will be ready and waiting to welcome you again, with ridiculously cosy, underfloor-heated rooms to eat, drink, and dine in, full self-contained facilities, and a pretty rear garden for al fresco catch-ups. Who could ask for anything more?
