Trust us: you won’t have stayed anywhere quite like Apple Camping before. An alternative and exclusive glamping site that’s set within the picturesque Pembrokeshire countryside, you can choose from an extremely eclectic collection of retreats – many of which are completely unique to the UK.
One such retreat is Sonar the Submarine. An ex-naval sonar hull that was originally built to attach onto an HMS Destroyer, Sonar allows you to live a dramatic life of underwater subterfuge… only without the risk of enemy capture!
Designed to accommodate two guests and two well-behaved dogs, you’ll be situated in the tranquil south field, well away from the main site (well, you’re doing secret naval work, after all!) and with your very own garden space.
Along with an inventive ‘depth-charge’ water butt and decorative torpedoes, Sonar’s delights include a wildflower meadow firepit, a tiny-yet-well-equipped kitchen, an en-suite loo, and a distinctive al fresco shower to freshen up in.
Ready to explore? Go wildlife-watching, hole yourselves up in a welcoming pub, or visit Wales’ Number One beach at Barafundle… the choice is yours!
