Located between Gulfoss and Geysir in Iceland’s iconic Golden Circle, Náttúra Yurtel is a glorious base from which to see the country’s most breath-taking sights, away from the crowded tourist trap.

The retreat comprises just nine sumptuous yurts.  Each one has been custom-crafted to age-old techniques by a Mongolian family of experts, then styled with sleek, modern Icelandic décor and furnishings.  You’ll even have private washroom facilities, electricity, and toasty underfloor heating for glamping at its most luxurious!

Served in the dedicated dining yurt, a simple Icelandic breakfast is included with your stay; an ideal way to set yourselves up for a memorable day of sightseeing on those endless summer days (we have to say, viewing Iceland’s greatest waterfall in the midnight sunshine is the best bucket-list event we can imagine).

There are plenty of ‘must-try’ dining options close by, too, including fine cuisine, laid-back pizza joints… and two restaurants that specialise in mushrooms and tomatoes respectively!

Meanwhile, if you’re visiting during the winter months, you’ll have the best possible chance of viewing the elusive Northern Lights, from the best possible position.  And with hot drink-making facilities included in your cosy yurt, you’ll be all set for an unforgettable evening under the stars.
