Infused with myths and legends of ancient times past, you’ll find Middlewick Glamping luxuriously nestled by the ancient oak trees Gog and Maggog – believed to be the entrance to the to the Ancient Isle of Avalon – with the majestic Glastonbury Tor right on the doorstep, offering a direct walking path into Glastonbury itself.
It goes without saying, then, that the views are particularly breathtaking from this magical part of the world, with an unrivalled vista across the Somerset levels to Cheddar Gorge and the Mendip Hills ready to greet you as you wake every morning. Middlewick Glamping truly offers you the chance to get back to nature in the most tranquil and naturally luxurious way possible!
Comprising sixteen acres of lush garden, horse paddocks and an orchard, Middlewick haven’t compromised on a shred of luxury, with the site including a heated indoor swimming pool and steam room for guests to enjoy.
Perfect for couples and groups alike, the luxury glamping accommodation can be booked individually or together – you’ll also find a range of holiday cottages on site that together with the glamping have a combined capacity of 48 – ideal for corporate groups or large families looking to celebrate an extra-special occasion.
Choose your ideal glamping setting from three deluxe, dog-friendly E-den camping cabins (featured on George Clarke’s ‘Amazing Spaces’ and aptly named Adam, Eve and Apple!) or a charming Shepherd’s Hut. Both sets of accommodation are discovered in a serene paddock, by ancient apple trees that bear plenty of fruit for you to forage during an Autumn stay! For extra luxury, each glamping option includes its own private wet room with a blissfully hot shower – not to mention plenty of fluffy towels.
The dome-shaped, fully heated and insulated E-den cabins are truly welcoming homes-from-home that each feature a full-sized, freshly-dressed double bed… that looks right out to the sunrise and the stars through a large window. You’ll find a barbecue for cooking, and there’s no better place to enjoy your al-fresco meals than on your cabin’s private decking, with canvas awning to protect you from the elements.
Discover an outdoor bean bag for you to snuggle up in with a morning coffee to watch the sun rising over Glastonbury Tor – can you imagine a more soothing way to begin your days?
