Matū PurePod is a dreamlike couple’s escape, crafted almost entirely from glass and nestled in the midst of thriving New Zealand nature.

You’ll find the glistening retreat hidden among native bush, with total privacy guaranteed. Elevated above peaceful King Country farmland on the North Island, the far-reaching, big-sky views are endlessly captivating… particularly at sunrise.

Simply taking the short stroll to your PurePod will feel like a sensory treat, leading you through wide open fields and grazing farm animals. Once you arrive, you’re free to breathe out and relax, in a blissful sanctuary that’s home to everything you’ll need.

Luxurious facilities include a gas hob and barbecue (why not upgrade your stay to include a mouth-watering dinner and breakfast hamper?), a cosy bed dressed in fresh linen, and a shower-with-a-view.

The comfy camp chairs are perfect for lounging out on the deck with a chilled glass of local wine, to a soundtrack of native birds. There’s a selection of games to keep you entertained into the evening, and a telescope for watching that awe-inspiring, star-sprinkled night sky later on.

If you’re in the mood for venturing out, the Waitomo region is a short drive away. Filled with natural wonders, here you can take a guided tour of the iconic Waitomo Glowworm Caves, go black water rafting through subterranean rivers, or take the spectacular Ruakuri Walk, past natural sculpted cliffs and limestone arches.
