  • Sleeps: 8
  • Bedrooms: 4
  • Bathrooms: 3
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

Dog-friendly and sleeping up to eight lucky guests, nobody has to miss out on a joy-filled, ‘wow-factor’ stay at Margate Beach House.

Alive with colour and creativity, the warmly welcoming retreat is filled with imaginative delights that will have everybody in awe… that is, when you’re not admiring spectacular sea views from the front bay windows.

There’s a private gate that leads straight down to the beach, and you’ll even have a ready supply of buckets, spades, and beach boards to help keep you entertained on lazy seaside days. Yet if you’re staying in, you’ll find the kitchen island deftly morphs into a ping-pong table – with a little help from a bespoke board disguised as quirky angular artwork!

Of course, Margate is the capital of retro-cool, so you’ll find the house a perfect reflection of its vibrant soul and spirit. Iconic fast-food-style Golden Arches enliven the hallway, while the upcycled elements and well-chosen accessories you’ll find in every room are guaranteed to bring on smiles.

You’ll also find each space boasts its very own colours and style, including a rich blue, chandelier-adorned sitting room, a soft-peach TV room with funky wall adornments and comfy 70’s-inspired sofas, and a twin bedroom with gorgeous weather-inspired décor.

But that’s not quite all! This is a retreat that offers a wealth of al fresco wonder. Simply wander through the French doors to discover a magical courtyard garden and lounge, complete with dining furniture, festoon lighting, and an ornate central fireplace just waiting to be lit.

What else? There’s a refreshing outdoor shower that’s ideal after long days at the beach, and a blissful, five-seater hot tub that’s perfect for stargazing with a well-deserved glass of bubbles (or two!)

“In the words of Art (age 3) – Can we stay here forever? We came to spend a week here with our Dad who did not want to fly and it was honestly one of the best little holidays we have ever had! Your house is incredible and the little touches made everything feel very special. We’ve loved every minute. Grandad said the location just kept giving and giving.. it was perfect!”
