The vast, private Lilymere Estate is perfectly situated in Cumbria, between the Lake District National Park and the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with endless opportunities to explore the Great Outdoors. That is, if you can bear to leave your beautiful Boat House!

Here, peaceful daylight floods inside through enormous windows, while furnished decking leads straight out to the lake. Cradle a mug of morning coffee as you watch the sun rise gently over glistening water… if you’re lucky, you’ll catch sight of the resident ducks gliding effortlessly past.

Back inside, indulgent facilities include a sleek, well-equipped kitchen, and a freestanding double-ended bathtub positioned right under a window for scenic bubble-soaks. High ceilings add a sumptuous feeling of space, and there’s a roaring fire to warm snuggly evenings in front of the TV.

Dine out on the decking or in the patio garden – both with serene lake views – as you get to know each-other all over again. You may even decide to open a second bottle of wine and linger outside as the moon rises and the stars shimmer… and that would be absolutely fine.
