Trust us: once you’ve visited Les Voltes, you’ll want to return again and again – as the growing number of repeat guests can confirm!

You’ll feel as though you’ve been let in on a delightful secret as you arrive in Barberà de la Conca; an ancient Spanish wine village with just 500 residents. Set blissfully away from the beaten tourist track, it’ll be hard to believe that bustling Barcelona is in easy reach.

Nestled above a pair of 15th-century arches, Les Voltes is a sustainability-certified, laid-back townhouse with two apartments that radiate warmth, comfort, and incredible attention to detail. The apartments (a two-bed and a three-bed) can be rented separately or together to accommodate larger groups travelling together.

Welcoming owners Anne and Jordi have seen to it that your every holiday need is provided for, and much more besides. For example, the retro rooftop chillout space and terrace come complete with darts, a disco ball…

…and a heaving collection of over 800 LPs and CDs to groove or lounge to, all against a soothing backdrop of vineyards. Perfect for a sizzling, scenic barbecue supper before the stars come out to play in the clear night sky.

Sleeping up to ten guests in five bedrooms, the home is a heady blend of old and new. Modern appliances, including a Smeg oven, five-burner gas hobs, and a sleek Yamaha electric piano, seem perfectly at home amongst the wooden beams and stone floors.

Furnishings are both eye-catching and irresistibly homely – think cosy throws and colourful rugs – with some wonderful heritage elements to discover, too. There’s a cleverly illuminated 18th century fresco in the elegant master bedroom, while the bathroom features a salvaged 19th century sink and original pantry-tiles.
