Exquisitely arched, exceptionally stylish and featuring grand high ceilings throughout, this sustainable and beautiful underground holiday home blends perfectly with its soothing natural surroundings, providing outstanding views over nine acres of olive groves, with the striking Els Ports mountains in the distance.
Sleeping up to four people in two bedrooms, you can relax in the knowledge that your carbon footprint will be significantly reduced during your stay here! Solar energy provides plenty of power, while the home’s unique setting ensures you’ll naturally be kept cool in summer and warm in winter.
Three stunning arches, complete with wood and steel shutters, will lead your way into the house, allowing both amazing views, and daylight to flood inside for a wonderfully warm welcome.
High, gently curved ceilings are set off by clean-lined décor, coloured lighting, striking design touches and upcycled furnishings, displaying the distinctive structure of the building to its very best effect. Relax in the cosy open-plan living room, complete with comfy seating, a wood burning stove, and shelves lined with browse-worthy books. Bright white décor with flashes of bold turquoise provide the perfect background mood.
The well-equipped kitchen and dining area is bright and airy, featuring oak-panelled concrete worktops and light wells. The scene is well and truly set for many a catch-up over a traditional Catalonian lunch at the hand-made elm table, as you sip wine and look out over the olive groves.
Later on, follow an elegant parade of arches to discover two relaxing bedrooms, dressed in calming colours and furnished for cosy tranquility (not to mention lazy lie-ins!) The spacious bathroom is both rustic and indulgent in design, featuring a sink made from an upturned washer drum.
