Welcome to June Farms – where a Middle Earth adventure awaits you in the form of a wonderfully rustic Hobbit House, one that combines the magic of a storybook retreat with modern luxuries. Sleeping up to two, this is an ideal escape from the world for a romantic getaway or a solo retreat, complete with thatched roof, round doorway and a soothing outdoor space with private fire pit to enjoy.

Looking for something different? Each sleeping up to three guests the Wellness Huts are creatively converted from Quonset huts – the American equivalent of the British Nissen huts used during wartime – to provide luxurious, self-contained relaxation in a friendly New York farm setting.

Your chosen hut not only features a cosy kingsize bed and single day bed, but a dry/wet sauna and a soaking tub, to help banish everyday cares into oblivion! There’s an optional cold plunge, too, if you’re feeling brave enough. If you’re a larger group, it’s possible to book all three Wellness Huts together, sleeping up to nine guests in total.

If you can bear to leave your dreamy house or hut, you’ll find the farm generously at your disposal for exploring, with intriguing trails and paths to follow on foot or by golf cart, and cared-for animals to meet. There’s even an on-site bar and restaurant, The Pony Barn, (check opening times for your stay) to unwind in.

The farm’s owners will happily furnish you with ‘insider’ tips and suggestions for local places to visit, or simply hop in the car to stock up on holiday essentials at the nearby stores. Downtown Albany and Troy are a mere ten minutes away for further sightseeing and discovery… but as we say, only if you can bear to leave!
