Beautifully located just 20 minutes away from Québec City, the artfully glistening Hôtel de Glace is newly constructed each year from fresh ice and snow. This stunning hotel has been the captivating setting for many television and film projects, such as Disney’s launch of the movie ‘Frozen’ and Daddy Yankee’s video for his song Hielo.

A stay here guarantees a truly unique experience – not only is Hôtel de Glace the only hotel of its kind in North America, but everywhere you look, you’ll be able to feast your eyes upon artist-created ice sculptures and captivating themed décor lit with soft, coloured lights…all while enjoying a colourful, freshly-mixed cocktail served in an ice glass.

With 45 individually-themed rooms and suites to choose from, not to mention steaming outdoor hot tubs and an invigorating sauna, you’re sure to discover plenty of new ways to relax amongst sub-zero temperatures! You’ll find bespoke-crafted furniture delicately carved from ice by local sculptors and artists, all offset by sparkling, whitewashed walls to give the distinct, refreshing feeling of being spirited away to a magical ice castle.

Complete with premium mattress-topped clear ice beds, choose from the igloo-like intimacy of the hotel’s signature rooms, or perhaps spend a night in a themed suite, featuring ice and snow sculptures, wall murals and creative lighting.

Merge the beauty of fire and ice with a Premium suite stay, complete with fireplace, while if you’re in a celebratory mood, the Premium Deluxe Arctic Spa theme suite is the largest and most luxurious room type, coming complete with its own private spa and sauna.

After a well deserved dinner in any one of our five on-site restaurants,, while away some time in the Nordic relaxation area under the stars, complete with its outdoor spas, and an energising Finnish sauna

If that’s about as much energy as you can muster…well, we wouldn’t blame you. However, also waiting for you here is the Winter Playground, featuring romantic ice-skating paths and more than thirty-five snow slides to whizz down! The Himalayas slopes are the longest and steepest, providing breathtaking views of the Jacques-Cartier river and valley as you zip by.  Oh, and if you’re feeling brave enough, why not tackle the Everest – otherwise known as the highest accelerating slide in North America?
