Nestled among whispering oak woodland in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you’d never guess that Hoots Treehouses is a mere hour away from London.
Both exquisitely-crafted retreats blend peacefully into the idyllic East Sussex landscape. They will make you forget about the existence of hectic city life and deadlines!
Better still, this is a break that comes with a refreshingly minimal carbon footprint. Whether you choose family-friendly Hoots or adults-only Tawny, there’s plenty of natural wood, solar power, and recycling systems that mean you can relax and breathe easy.
Hoots is a childhood dream come true – perfect for big and little kids alike! Sleeping up to four guests (children must be aged five or over), the circular retreat will make you feel as though you’re living in an elevated wooden castle, with gently arched windows and a gorgeous balcony from which to survey the surrounding woodland… or your ancient rural kingdom!
The rustic kitchen is perfect for rustling up gourmet dinners or treetop snacks, though there’s also a gas barbecue for dreamy sunset suppers. You’ll also have a bathroom, complete with a heated towel rail and fluffy towels – and a roaring log-burner to warm cosy evenings in.
Tawny, meanwhile, is to be found at the end of a gently swaying rope bridge, for a suitably majestic entrance! Along with bespoke garden furniture, a handcrafted copper bath awaits on the panoramic wraparound decking… ideal on star-studded or moonlit evenings with a chilled glass of wine.
Perfect for a romantic getaway, you’ll have a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, a heavenly rainfall shower, and a downy superking bed with supersoft pillows, to ensure plenty of opulent comfort during your stay.
