If you could conjure an opulent treehouse for someone who’s afraid of staggering heights, Honeycomb Treehouse is it!

The unusual lodge-retreat is set within 30 glorious acres of a former vineyard in rural Dorset with the coast in easy driving distance. Yet with a stargazing hot tub on hand, and beautiful gardens to explore all around, you may feel more than content to stay put.

The living space is at ground level; home to a relaxed open-plan living space that feels at one with the surrounding trees. Laze in front of the TV by evening, and rustle up romantic suppers in the well-equipped kitchenette (or have delicious meals delivered, whichever you prefer!).

Upstairs awaits a cosy double bed, dressed in fresh linen for the ultimate in lazy lie-ins. When you’re finally ready to greet the day, there’s an al fresco table and chairs for savouring fresh coffee and birdsong… or perhaps a sizzling sunset barbecue later on.

Wander through the grounds – perhaps accompanied by a tasty picnic – or spend some time on the nearby golf-course, just a short walk away. If you’re in the mood for a drive, you can take in the coast or explore any number of quirky local delights, from Monkey World to the Bovington Tank Museum, at your leisure.
