Moored in Albert Dock, a stone’s throw from the heart of the city, the Hollywood Barges have been individually styled around two themes – The Joker and The Titanic – meaning a stay in one these is completely unlike any other you will have experienced!
The Titanic is a spectacle to behold. Complete with portholes and towering funnels; inside, lavish chandeliers, opulent mirrors and swag ceiling décor provide drama and luxury. Even the floor is based on that of the original First Class Lounge.
One addition not found on the original ship is the 3D 52-inch TV, perfect for movie nights (guests should supply their own 3D glasses and films). The Titanic sleeps up to nine in three spacious bedrooms, and the Master Suite even has its own custom headboard, satin sheets and mirrored ceiling, all adding to the first class experience.
The Joker Boat was built around the theme of a home for Batman’s foe, before it was turned into 5-star accommodation. With purple, red and black colour themes running throughout the boat, coupled with sleek lines and finishes, it certainly suits the sneaky but suave Joker himself. Sleeping eight, the barge is large enough to feel roomy even at full capacity.
Enjoy a cocktail or two at the red-tiled breakfast bar while sitting back on stylish padded barstools, or relax on the black leather sofas to watch the HD flat screen TV. There is also a laptop available for guests, perfect for planning your nights out in this vibrant city.
Both barges come with fully equipped kitchens and laundry facilities, and have Sky TV, DVD players and CD players. WiFi is free in 30-minute packages from Albert Dock.
