If Holiday Farm Bus looks a little familiar, that’s because you may have seen it before… trundling its merry way through the streets of Darlington!

Constructed in 1987, the double-decker bus notched up many faithful years of service, transporting hundreds of thousands of passengers across the region. Then, owners Gill and Dave had an innovative idea: why not turn the bus into a mobile farm?

The ‘Farmyard Flyer’ quickly became a Darlington legend, attracting local media attention and helping Gill and Dave fulfil their goal of bringing all the fun of life on a farm directly to the people.

Sadly, engine trouble meant the bus faced a long and lonely retirement. That is, until Gill and Dave decided to transform it all over again… and lo, the Holiday Farm Bus was born!

Sleeping up to four guests in luxurious king and double rooms (yes, on a bus!) there are plenty of onboard facilities that make holiday life a breeze, with peaceful farm views that will help everybody relax and unwind.

Oh, and did we mention your best four-legged friend is more than welcome to join you on this fun family break, too?

There’s plenty of space to catch up with your loved ones, including a scenic seating area at the front, and a cosy lounge at the back (where the cool kids sit!) in which the engine has been replaced by a gorgeous log-burner to warm your evenings.
