As such, each boasts its very own style and personality, such as the Principum Magicae, which resembles an authentic castle ruin… only with sleek mod-cons!
Bringing the family? The Itinerandum has the feel of a first-class railway journey from Victorian times, with a stargazing double bed and a bunk room separated by an evocative station ‘waiting room’.
Furnished with bookshelves that appear to replenish themselves as if by magic, the Libraryum is perfect for devoted readers, while the Sorceryum features real Transylvanian broomsticks, with views towards St. Sampson’s gothic church.
Last but not least, the Apothecary sleeps up to five budding chemists, surrounded by antique bottles and test-tubes, written formulae for mercury and gold (which you can actually try your hand at making!) and weird and wonderful potions… some of which can be used to create a relaxing bath.
