Surrounded by soothing countryside, the 15th century gatehouse once formed the defensive entrance to the village rectory of Bolton Percy. You’ll find plenty of its original features intact, including grand doorways, vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, for a feeling of timeless relaxation.

There are full, modern, kitchen and dining facilities, and a superking four poster bed to relax in after a hard day of exploring the local area (Leeds is within easy reach, along with the bustling city of York, so you’ll have plenty of options!) 

Though you’ve always got the option of continuing that blissful ‘time capsule’ feel out in the decked area instead, enjoying a romantic tipple surrounded by gently rustling mature trees.
