Hideaway Huts and The Watch House

Two cosy farm shepherd’s huts and a blissfully remote, off-grid clifftop cottage, pet-friendly and perfectly positioned for a relaxing break in picture-perfect Cornwall.
  • Sleeps: 2 (+2) or 5
  • Bedrooms: Open plan
  • Bathrooms: 1 per unit
  • Minimum stay: 2-3 nights

Comprising 150 acres of idyllic green and flower-filled space, Treworgey Farm is a haven for fun and relaxation in the Cornish countryside, with the most beautiful views both to the Looe River Valley and the shimmering sea.

There are just two shepherd’s huts to choose from here: The Shepherd’s Hut and The Lambing Hut. Each cosy haven is privately positioned at opposite ends of the farm, for total seclusion amongst this superlative scenery – and you’ll even have your very own luxury bathroom hut, mere steps away.

Better still, while both huts are perfect for a romantic break, you needn’t worry if you can’t find a pet-sitter or childminder. There’s ample space next to your chosen hut to pitch a tent for the kids, while not only your dog, but your cat, tortoise, rabbit or pony are welcome to enjoy a well-deserved farm break, too!

Simply light your wood-burning stove (or relax in your private wood-fired hot tub if staying in The Shepherd’s Hut) for evenings rich in both comfort and beauty. There’s a full-size double bed waiting for when it’s finally time to turn in, a kitchenette for drinks and snacks, and plenty of wide open space to explore, whether on two legs or four.

If you’re still stuck for ways to spend your time, there’s a licensed riding-school on the farm, along with a spa pool, tennis, and dedicated children’s play areas… not to mention picnic spots galore!

Looking for something a little more remote? The Watch House couldn’t be more ideal; an ultra-romantic and completely off-grid clifftop cottage that dates back to the 19th century.

Once a coastguard’s lookout station, the charming stone-and-slate cottage is built directly into the cliff, and is the only building to be found in the sublime, seven-mile stretch of cliffs between Polruan and Polperro. So not only will the sea views be truly spectacular, but they won’t be interrupted by traffic or tourists!
