Harlingen Lighthouse
- Sleeps: 2
- Bedroom: 1
- Bathroom: 1
- Minimum stay: 1 night
Originally constructed in the 1920s, Harlingen Lighthouse formed part of an iconic network of lighthouses that line the Dutch coast.
These days, the striking building has been comfortably restored as a scenic retreat for two guests. This is an ideal setting for a couple in search of something a little quirkier than the average break!
Accommodation is generously spaced over three floors; a ‘bathing’ floor with a circular shower, a cosy living and sleeping floor with a custom bed, and finally, the viewing floor right at the top.
Here, under the original copper dome, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from the spot where the lighthouse lamp once proudly shone.
With a freshly baked breakfast basket delivered to you each morning, you can enjoy surveying the coastal comings and goings over coffee and rolls, whether you choose to stay inside, or head outside onto the lantern platform. Whichever you choose, your souls are sure to light up inside.
