Serving as a faithful lifeboat from 1955 to 1979, in her heyday the Lilla Marras saved countless lives. Since her retirement, she has been lovingly restored and restyled for her new life in historic, view-filled Harlingen, the famous Dutch ‘city of ships’.

Moored in the expansive harbour, the new Lifeboat Harlingen is cosily equipped, with shipshape lower deck comforts that include a wooden two-person bath and a waterlily-shaped bed.  With additional options that include roses and chilled Champagne awaiting your arrival, she’s ideal for a romantic getaway with a nautical twist.

Enjoy a tasty, freshly-delivered breakfast in the rear cockpit, where you’ll also find a lounge-worthy cabin complete with swivel armchairs, a DVD player and a minibar. Meanwhile, the upper deck includes plenty of seating for you to watch the captivating Harlingen world go by.

If you’ve got an appetite for life amongst the waves, hire a private captain for an exhilarating a two-hour trip (while if you prefer living the high life, you might just prefer a stay in the sky-high Harbour Crane instead!).
