Nestled in historic Limbrassac, a rural commune in France’s beautiful Occitanie region, Fount de Cousteno is gloriously reminiscent of an epic fantasy tale.

Part of a dedicated ‘vacation village’, the privately-spaced retreat was lovingly hand-built by the owner himself. As such, you’ll find its unique interior filled with delightfully quirky elements that evoke a cosy feeling of home.

Sleeping up to four guests, this is the ideal setting for a small family… particularly when there’s a beautiful garden, an indoor games room, and a shimmering outdoor pool to keep everybody entertained!

When you’re not splashing around in that pool, you’ll find the bespoke-crafted kitchen well-equipped with a gas stove and a microwave… not to mention a coffee machine to help kick-start your mornings.

There’s a cosy fireplace to snuggle around once the sun has set, and two comfy bedrooms to curl up in when it’s finally time for sleep: a double and a twin.

After that sound night of slumber, freshen up in the shower room, then why not explore the local area? The beautifully preserved medieval town of Mirepoix is close by, with its pastel timber-framed houses and bustling central square.  

Slightly further afield, Camom has been designated one of France’s most beautiful villages… what better way to while away some holiday hours, before heading back to Fount de Cousteno to enjoy another amazing sunset?
