Secluded deep in the captivating Dyfi forest, Eco Retreats is the perfect way to get re-acquainted with the abundant charms of nature.

Take the winding forest path to discover just three yurts, each one privately positioned across 50 acres of a 1300-acre organic working farm. Specifically created to help guests reconnect with the natural world – and each-other – the site is sustainably-focused and completely off-grid.

Blissfully free of digital distractions all holiday long, your soundtrack becomes joyous birdsong and gently rustling leaves, and your entertainment scenes of twinkling stars in pitch-dark skies, and delicate morning mists over lush greenery.

Sleeping two adults and two children, each yurt enjoys its own perfect position for the loveliest possible views, and comes complete with an al fresco bath and shower… fed by a natural on-site spring, for the freshest bathing experience you’ll ever enjoy!

Set in a whimsical wildflower meadow and sometimes surrounded by grazing sheep, Meadow Yurt faces directly into the forest, while Ash Valley showcases the most exquisite valley views from the windows. River Yurt is set right on the banks of the site’s rushing river; the gentle sound of which will ease you into a comforting night’s sleep.

Other private facilities include an eco-loo, a two-ring gas cooker with everything you’ll need to prepare hearty forest feasts, and a campfire to relax around outside… so all you have to do is bring some marshmallows for toasting. Surrounded by soft-glowing candles and starlight, night-time at Eco Retreats is tranquil and spellbinding.

Wake up with a steaming mug of something lovely – you’ll have a ready supply of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate inside your yurt – as you plan exactly how you’ll spend the emerging day.

What the guests of Eco Retreats say

“Our 4th time at Eco Retreats and 2nd time at Ash Valley. We could never get tired of this stunning view! After 4 days of long hikes up the hills, forest bathing and playing in the waterfall, we feel totally regenerated. Of all the places we’ve been, nowhere quite gives us the same feeling as we get whilst here.”

“After a tough few months, we were seeking a few days to completely escape and Eco Retreats did not disappoint! From beautiful forest walks, to waking up to no sound but the birds and sheep, cooking delicious food on the campfire and that magical outdoor bath with the most incredible views, it really has been heaven on earth. We already can’t wait to come back …”

“What a wonderful place. There are not many places that you can switch off and enjoy outstanding beauty and simplicity of life – this is one of them. We didn’t even care about the unpredictable nature of the weather! Loved it – thank you – we’ll be back.”
