Known for its world-famous preserves, and its close proximity to London (you can drive there in under 90 minutes), Tiptree is a quiet, rural Essex village that’s also home to a uniquely magical seven-bedroom mansion.

Affectionately known as ‘The Pink House’ – for reasons that will become obvious when you see its gorgeously flamboyant exterior! – the fairytale mansion is the creative brainchild of its artist owner, Amy Griffith.

Amy spent twelve years turning the home into a glittering, fantasy-filled escape; one that has since attracted a host of celebrity guests and clients, such as Vogue, Pretty Little Thing, Hello Kitty, Paris Hilton and more.. The house has also provided the setting for many a fashion photoshoot, as well as Little Mix’s video shoot for their hit song ‘Bounce Back’.

Sleeping up to 20 guests, get set to enjoy a lavish, fun, glitz-and-glitter-coated break that’ll have everybody chattering eagerly … long after you’ve all returned home!

Every room is guaranteed to draw wide eyes and excited breaths, as you explore your spellbinding surroundings. Expect an endless parade of show-stopping, visually arresting features that include gold glitter walls, leopard-print wallpaper, light-up roses, funky recycled furnishings, and art in every direction, including a huge waterfall painted onto the back of the house!

Each bedroom is individually styled and furnished in a different theme, including the enchanting, mirror-strewn Secret Garden, the soft-toned Sweetheart, and the explosion of colour and design that makes up the Tropical room.

Not all of the rooms are standard doubles, either – there’s also an en-suite family room with a kingsize and two single beds, two caravans and a stylish garden bedroom to choose from.

There are full kitchen facilities, and a large, rose-filled dining room to enjoy your meals in – not to mention an outrageously fun ‘fireman’ bar! But you might prefer to congregate for cocktails outside in the dedicated ‘saloon’ (why not hire a mixologist for an extra shot of indulgence?) and the ‘fairytale grotto’ garden that boasts unicorn sculptures, an outdoor fireplace, and the piece de resistance, an 8-person hot tub!

Entertainment-wise, there’s a screen, pool table, and large Sky-and-Apple-equipped TVs. But perhaps best of all, the entire house becomes your very own shimmering disco by evening, with a riot of colourful flashing lights that you get to control (though if you don’t fancy a disco, you can always set some dreamy mood lighting instead).   Perhaps you can also hire a caterer to provide some mouthwatering treats to help the party along?

Simply fire up the portable sound system, grab that freshly mixed cocktail, and get ready to dance the night away!

Check in after 2pm, check out by 12pm. Smoking is not permitted inside the house. Eaton House Studio can organise catering and entertainment for guests.
