Ideal for large group breaks that call for something special, Dunstan Hall is a stunning, Grade II*-listed country retreat that sleeps up to 18 guests in ten elegant bedrooms.

Secluded in a Northumberland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you’ll be a mere mile away from the scenic coastal village of Craster, with the golden beach of Embleton Bay accessible along a charming bridleway.

Drenched in fascinating history, Dunstan Hall itself has a wealth of stories to tell. Parts of its existing pele tower are said to date all the way back to the 11th century, while most of the rest of the house was constructed between the early 14th to 18th centuries.

Along with modern comforts that include a breakfast room with a four-oven Aga, and a laid-back games room complete with leather sofas, table football and a TV, there are plenty of authentic period features that promise to make your eyes widen in wonder as you explore your new surroundings.

The entrance hall features an intricate 15th century fireplace and stonework from the lost Tudor house of Gloster Hill, while Queen Anne panelling, mullioned windows, Morris tapestries, and Tudor stone staircases all create a captivating sense of travelling back in time.

Tinkle the ivories on the grand piano in the spectacular drawing room, or enjoy the cosy lounge to swap catch-up stories with your favourite people, in the shadow of the Jacobean carved fireplace, before coming together to break bread in the dining room.

Equipped with a 14-foot-long oak refectory table and a stone fireplace, you’ll feel ready for an epic, wine-fuelled banquet that lasts long into the evening!
