Spirit your favourite people away to an eight-cabin, dog-friendly wooden ‘pirate ship’, gloriously secluded amongst crystal-clear waters in Greece’s exclusive Porto Cheli.
  • Sleeps: 20
  • Bedrooms: 8
  • Bathrooms: 7.5
  • Minimum stay: 3 nights

Once the residence of King Constantine II, Porto Cheli is a summer resort town that’s a veritable magnet for the well-heeled of Greece… with glorious surroundings and a heady atmosphere to rival the likes of Monaco.

You just never know whom you might catch sight taking a swim in the crystalline waters, browsing the upscale shops, or strolling through the olive-tree-studded hills nearby.

It’s right here that you’ll discover Dream of Freedom: a sumptuous ‘pirate ship’ crafted entirely from wood and filled with luxury for you and your favourite people – up to 20 lucky guests altogether. And with pets welcome on board too, you won’t have to leave your best four-legged friend at home.

The ship’s owner is an author and journalist, as well as a fan of classical architecture and Chinese art. Translation: your surroundings will be just as elegant and beautiful on board as they are when you disembark.

There’s plenty of opulent space to lounge, dine, and socialise, whether in the ship’s spacious wheel house and bar (there’s a well-equipped kitchen, too), or out on the scenic deck where there’s plenty of places to sit with a freshly-mixed cocktail. You’ll have plenty of privacy, too… handy if the celebrations become a little noisy!

Where will you sleep once the party’s over? There are eight cabins to choose from: two doubles in the stern, two doubles situated by the bow, and four aft cabins with double bunks and another single above. Each cabin boasts en-suite facilities, so there’ll be no cross-legged queues at midnight.

After a sound night’s sleep, why not get up a little early and greet the sunrise with an invigorating dip, taken right from the ship’s dedicated swimming platform? Glass-like and sparkling clean, the water here is a joy to experience… as the many beautiful shoals of resident fish will testify!
