Savour incredible views over Kirkcudbright Bay from the comfort of a cosy geodome, complete with a stargazing hot tub and a romantic wood-burning stove.
  • Sleeps: 2 per dome
  • Bedrooms: Open plan
  • Bathrooms: 1 per dome
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

Privately secluded on tranquil farmland that overlooks Kirkcudbright Bay, the shimmering, big-sky views from Domes by the Sea are jaw-droppingly lovely.

Luckily, there’s plenty of scope for you to savour every last glimpse… whether you’re snuggled up in front of your chosen dome’s enormous window or glass doors, or indulging in a balmy sunset barbecue out on your private deck.

Oh… and with your own stargazing hot tub to sink into after a long walk – or indeed, a long day of doing nothing! – it’s hard to imagine a finer way to spend a romantic break.

So, which cosy, celestially-named dome will you choose? There are four: Pegasus, Orion, Andromeda, and Hercules. Each sleep two guests in a downy kingsize bed, but if you can’t bear to leave your best four-legged friend at home, no problem, as Orion and Andromeda are also dog-friendly.

Ideal for all-year-round stays, you could find yourselves returning again and again – since at Domes by the Sea, the scenery and atmosphere change mesmerisingly along with the seasons.

And of course, you could stay in a different dome each time! You’ll find newest additions Andromeda and Hercules each equipped with sublime temperature-regulating insulation, and large glass doors that open straight out to the decking, welcoming the outside in.

Spend peaceful summer evenings al fresco with a bottle of wine, see the surrounding woodland thrive with new spring life and rich autumnal colours, or simply light the wood-burning stove – with wood gainfully provided at no extra cost – and watch winter storms roll in and out of the bay.
