Accommodation at Gorsebank is beautifully nestled within the pristine rural landscape of south west Scotland, dotted with peaceful grazing horses and Herdwick sheep under clear skies that shine with stars.
The site is designed for luxuriating in the Great Outdoors, with privacy and proximity to nature assured. Revel in the farm’s abundant tranquillity and natural beauty, or visit the nearby Solway Coast for breezy clifftop walks and days spent lazing on idyllic sandy beaches – your choice!
Kabin Noir is Gorsebank’s latest addition: a sleek, stylish cabin secluded on an enchanting tree-lined bank. Sleeping up to five guests, this is the perfect retreat for two couples or a small family – and with up to two dogs welcome too, no-one has to stay behind at home.
Outside awaits a wood-fired hot tub for sublime stargazing, as well as a dedicated grassy area, lounger chairs for curling up with a good book, and a gas barbecue for sizzling al fresco suppers. There’s even an outdoor log burner to keep everyone warm on cooler evenings spent chatting on the large, covered deck.
Back inside, curl up in the kingsize bed or double bunk for sound nights of slumber. Generous Kabin facilities include a well-equipped kitchen, a gleaming shower room, a TV and a sofa for laid-back nights in.
Contained Bliss, meanwhile, is a creative, individually-named collection of cosy couples’ retreats with en-suite facilities, enormous outdoor decks, and covered ‘dine and grill’ areas to help you make the most of those incredible rural views. Oh, and you’ll also have your very own al fresco tub to relax in, too.
Forest Dawn boasts an enviable position right at the top of the farm, to showcase panoramic views over the forests and fields. Relaxing in your wood-fired Dutchtub-for- two at the end of a long day rambling in nature is an absolute treat – particularly if you add a glass of bubbles!

More information
Discover Woodland Copse through a twisty tree-lined path, in a beautiful private space all of its own. The gorgeous wrap-around deck is perfect for morning coffee and sunset tipples alike, as cosy settle-down chairs furnish long conversations, warm memories and plans for new adventures.
Set among the crags that overlook the meadow and trout lochan, Rockery Retreat has a soothing, rugged feel. Positioned in the ‘dark skies’ area of the farm, stargazing in your Scandi wood-fired tub-for-two takes on an even more magical quality, too.
Last but by no means least, Aspen Dazzle overlooks the Aspen copse of trees at the far reaches of the farm, where you’ll share your enchanting surroundings with deer, otter, and badgers… as well as the birds that provide your uplifting morning soundtrack.
Once you’ve settled in, you’ll have the option to hire bikes (including electric) and explore the miles of trails in the neighbouring forest. Or maybe collect a fishing rod and make your way to the peaceful farm ponds, stocked with trout and carp, for a relaxing and fun-filled holiday by your own design.
