Perfect for a romantic couple and their faithful four-legged friend, Cabin at Croft 10 provides the ultimate setting for a dreamy escape… where it genuinely feels as though you’ve left ‘real life’ far behind.
For one thing, you’ll be spiriting yourselves away to the Outer Hebrides, where enormous, ever-changing skies and unspoilt nature reign supreme.
Less than eight miles from Stornoway, you’ll discover the peaceful cabin on a working sheep croft, boasting magnificent panoramic sea-and-wildlife views of Broad Bay. Watch out for gambolling dolphins, whales and soaring eagles in particular, all from the comfort of two cosy, perfectly-positioned armchairs.
Meanwhile, your welcoming committee will consist not only of the sheep themselves, but friendly owners Karen and Gareth, their dog Max, and the croft’s resident chickens! You may even find some freshly-laid eggs waiting for you in the well-equipped kitchen.
Exquisitely decorated with unique artisan elements and modern creature comforts, you’re sure to feel instantly at home. There’s a Smart TV and Wi-Fi to help you stay in touch with the ‘real’ world (if you choose to, that is!), as you snuggle up with Harris Tweed cushions and butter-soft blankets.
Even the bed, furnished with an ultra-comfy, state-of-the-art Emma mattress, showcases glorious views, particularly at sunset, while the Nespresso machine will help your mornings along – handy if you decide to wake up early and catch that awe-inspiring sunrise.
Freshen up in the luxury rain shower, then why not plan the rest of your day over a hearty home-cooked breakfast?

What the guests of Cabin at Croft 10 say
“Amazing place to stay if you want a cosy, peaceful and stressfree space where you can feel at home in and not worry about anything else. Such a well designed and equipped pod that enables you to put your belongings away, kick off your shoes and just relax in an armchair that allows you to watch the sun set. Each area has been designed to maximise the space without making the pod feel cramped – in fact the open plan design is quite the opposite. We wished we could have stayed longer, meaning we will just need to come back. Thank you once again for a fantastic stay.”
“One of the best cabins we’ve stayed at. Easy to get to from Stornoway and a great base to explore the island. The cabin is really well designed with everything you need. Karen & Gareth are friendly and welcoming. A lovely place to relax. Would highly recommend.”
“Karen and Gareth helped us out massively after a failed camping attempt thanks to the typical Scottish weather, but we are glad of the camping disaster as it led us to this wee gem. The location and views were amazing over looking the croft and the sea. Its just far out enough to feel like your in the middle of nowhere but close enough to Stornoway for anything you may need. The cabin is dog friendly and Karen and Gareth even welcomed our dog Jura with a wee bag of treats. Its modern, clean, cosy and lets in a lot of natural light. A home away from home with everything you could need. Fantastic hosts who couldn’t of been more welcoming if they tried. We hope to return to Lewis in the future and we will most definitely be booking here again. 10/10.”
