Wind back the clock to simple times past, and immerse yourselves in the magical charm of this lovingly restored railway carriage for two.

Beautifully nestled in an ancient wildflower hay meadow on the Welsh border, you’ll have plenty of peaceful privacy all holiday long.  With an ornate hot tub waiting for you outside, you’re sure to feel as though you’ve just arrived in your very own romantic heaven.

The off-grid carriage is packed with ingenious, one-off features, including upcycled Victorian stable doors and steps created from reclaimed sleepers (which double up as a sun-soaked balcony!) Your kitchen area is uniquely made from an old water tank, while your wet-room style bathroom is cleverly crafted from a grain silo.

Everything here is both incredibly well-thought out and deliciously cosy.  The traditional log burner will keep you warm on cooler evenings, as you snuggle on the vintage Chesterfield sofa and watch the local wildlife from the window.  Later on, the cosy kingsize bed promises a sound night’s sleep…with fresh mountain views to wake up to in the morning.

While your location is wonderful, close to Hay-on-Wye and perfectly positioned you to explore the very best of the area, you may choose to light the firepit, open a bottle of bubbles, and relax in your open-air hot tub all holiday long.
