The wood-burning stove is a warm and welcoming companion on cooler evenings and there’s a covered deck for lazy afternoons of chatting over a bottle of wine – with wool blankets to wrap up in while gazing at the stars.

What to do with your time? While Wi-Fi is available, you could find the tranquil environment compels you to simply get lost in a book, or break open a game, all thoughtfully provided by your hosts. You’ll even have a pair of binoculars on hand, to help you keep an eye on the local wildlife. During your stay, you may catch sight of the resident buzzard, who often perches on the gatepost in search of lunch.
