Dreamily located in south-eastern Mexico, Lake Bacalar is also known as the ‘Lagoon of Seven Colors’ thanks to its unusual, shimmering mix of blues and turquoises.

It’s at the widest part of the lake, in the midst of the Mayan jungle, that you’ll discover Azul Nomeolvides; a sumptuous collection of eco-friendly, adults-only lodges primed for total immersion in sublime tropical nature.

Owners Sam and Bernie are passionate about sustainability and social responsibility.  As such, you’ll find the blissful retreat deftly infused with these values.  

Constructed especially to blend harmoniously with their surroundings, each A-frame cabin boasts a breathable sense of romantic seclusion, with a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces – including a glorious al fresco rainfall shower – to help you appreciate the natural sights, sounds, and scents of this incredible part of the world.  

What else?  A delicious breakfast is served each morning, and there are kayaks to borrow if you feel like getting up close and personal with that magnificent lake.  Sam and Bernie’s two friendly dogs are on hand to help look after you during your stay, too!

Oh, and while Wi-Fi is available in the communal dining area, you’ll be encouraged to disconnect at all other times.
