Triumphal Arch Lodge
Make your holiday a triumph with a stunningly stately stay in the gateway to historic Colebrooke, set by the tranquil lakes of County Fermanagh.
You'll find the Triumphal Arch Lodge on the sprawling Colebrooke Estate, one of Northern Ireland's most significant and historic stately homes. Situated near idyllic Lough Erne and perfect for lovers of nature and history alike, the estate is set in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - making it the ideal place to get away from it all.
Full of natural style and perfect for families, the ground-level lodge is a Grade B listed building that was originally designed in the 19th Century by Dublin architect William Farrell, renowned for his stunning church designs. Marvel at the design intricacies as you arrive at the impressive entrance archway, a fittingly grand introduction to the estate beyond.
Traditionally decorated, the lodge sleeps up to four people (plus the dog) in two double bedrooms, giving an authentic taste of lives from times past while still including all the comforts you'd expect from a relaxing break on a country estate, with underfloor heating and contemporary fittings throughout.
The welcoming lounge, with its cosy sofa and armchairs, boasts a warming open fire, perfect for gathering around on colder evenings or curling up beside with a good book.
A well-equipped kitchen includes everything you need to prepare a selection of fresh country feasts, with a sociable dining table to enjoy them at - and why not follow your meal with a delightfully boozy Irish coffee or two, over a traditional game of cards?
Two beautifully dressed double bedrooms await when it's time to turn in, both featuring windows that look out onto fresh greenery, an ideal setting for a sound night's sleep! The bathroom is built for indulgence, with a tub just waiting to be filled up with bubbles.
If you can bear to tear yourselves away from the open fire and cosy beds for a moment, why not sit out in the lush green garden while you watch the flourishing wildlife nearby? Make friends with the red squirrels and woodpeckers as they go about their day...and you'll even discover a deer hide in the grounds, perfect for watching the majestic deer as they wander their way through the estate.
If you're a lover of the indulgent life then you're in for a treat, as the estate houses an award-winning spa it would be a shame not to experience during your stay! Outdoor lovers will enjoy fishing in the Colebrooke river, along with an abundance of birdwatching opportunities and bracing walks, with bike hire also available for those who prefer their own set of wheels.
Further afield, Enniskillen is the nearest town at just 20 minutes away by car. Why not take a trip to nearby Boa Island to view the Bronze Age carvings, or visit the Marble Arch Caves Geopark for some fresh adventure, only 40 minutes away from the estate?
You'll find you're also perfectly positioned to enjoy a wide selection of city-style entertainment, dining and shopping options, with Belfast and Dublin both under three hours away.
So for a break that's full of country tradition with an added touch of stately magnificence, come to the Triumphal Arch Lodge and enjoy a life of natural indulgence!

"A stunning little place to call home for a few days. So comfortable in every aspect. Easily accessible to villages for shopping and close to sights like Tully Castle ruin, Monea Castle ruin, Enniskillen town, Belleek village (lunch at The Thatch) Castle Coole, Florence Court and Crom Castle grounds for a picnic and boat rental. Wonderful to come back to at the end of a long day of touring. After an extended soak in the extra long tub you light a fire, open the wine and digest the days events."
"A wonderfully restored property, very clean and comfortable and a perfect place to enjoy a peaceful and restful short break. Access to the estate gives a great opportunity to walk and explore."
"Couldn't recommend a stay at the Triumphal Arch Lodge any more enthusiastically! The property is in gorgeous condition, in a gorgeous setting, and Rachel (and her family) are superb house managers. Would go back in a heartbeat."
