A jaw-dropping project worthy of the grandest designs, the retreat –  recently featured on Channel 4’s Extraordinary Escapes –  has been created from the romantic ruins of a Gothic chapel, carefully preserving historic features whilst offering the ultimate in indulgent modern-day comfort.

The exterior, a gleaming, glazed quadrangle fronted by elegant chapel remains, boasts the ‘wow-factor’ in spades, while inside await toasty underfloor heating, sleek mod-cons, and sumptuous furnishings.

These include a double-sided wood-burning stove with a sliding door, a softly-furnished snug, and a deluxe superking master bedroom occupying its very own glazed hallway (there are three more en-suite bedrooms to choose from: two kingsize and one twin).
