Siesta Campers is the creative brainchild of friendly owners Claire and Loyd – both frequent campervan travellers who have been sourcing and building the perfect van accommodation for years.  Not only is supreme attention to detail guaranteed, but expert advice is always on hand, whether you want to find a secret spot to rest your heads, or you’re just curious about what to pack!

All you have to do is choose your perfect campervan from a wide and colourful selection, each with its own fascinating story to tell (plus the ‘Captain’s Log’ diary inside each van features travelogue-style scribbles and advice from former guests – feel free to add yours!)  

For example, Martha the 1970 Westfalia camper is an immaculate time-capsule for two, featuring original 70’s upholstery and a rebuilt 1600cc engine. Meanwhile, vibrant Saffron was rescued from a scrapyard, then lovingly transformed into the perfect adventure-haven for up to four people.

Once inside your van, you can expect the highest quality interiors, bespoke-crafted from sustainable materials. You can also expect freshly-laundered bedding, a table and chairs, a two-ring cooker with a sink and glass lid, and even a ‘proper’ fridge.  

Not to mention all those little ‘extras’ that make a camping holiday so gloriously free and easy, from kitchen essentials and a washing line with clothes pegs, to luxuries including an espresso coffee pot and a sunshade.

Once you’ve chosen your favourite campervan and selected your location from Faro, Lisbon or Porto, you’ll be given a friendly introduction to your van. With a handy folder inside that’s complete with campsite information, maps and guide books, making new memories will be ridiculously easy.

(So easy, in fact, that we predict travelling through Portugal from the comfort of a VW campervan will soon become a holiday addiction!)

Things to note

Fuel and water will be fully provided on departure and should be returned in a similar condition, and should be externally clean/washed. All vans have 1600cc engines. A security deposit will be taken which will be returned after checkout, enquire for details. Vehicle insurances are arranged, enquire for full details.  Contact details will be provided should you require in event of breakdown/emergency.
