Raven's Gully
Scotland / Corriegills, Isle of Arran
Blissfully secluded, eco-friendly pods bursting with five-star luxury, including state-of-the-art automation, sumptuous furnishings, locally-sourced treats, and incredible views from the picturesque Isle of Arran.
Often referred to as ‘Scotland in miniature', the Isle of Arran boasts a generous helping of all that makes Scotland so naturally beautiful.
The sun rises and sets in the enormous sky, over a mesmerising, ever-changing coastal backdrop characterised by secluded beaches, soaring mountains, and lush, wildlife-steeped forests.
And it's right here, on a picturesque hilltop setting, that you'll discover Raven's Gully: a trio of ultra-luxurious, eco-friendly pods... the likes of which you won't ever have experienced before!
Strictly for adults only (your well-behaved dog is also welcome to join you in two of the pods), you can savour unforgettable views of both the awe-inspiring Goatfell, Arran's highest point, and the shimmering Firth of Clyde, the British Isles' deepest coastal waters.
Clad in Canadian red cedar, the spacious pods themselves have each been custom-designed and built for two, using sustainable technologies that mean your carbon footprint will be kept refreshingly light.
Styled as sumptuous, five-star boutique escapes, the friendly and attentive owners have included every holiday indulgence you can think of, and a few more besides.
Along with a welcome basket packed with local artisan produce, you'll be greeted by a state-of-the-art home automation system that allows you to tailor each element of your stay to personal perfection, from lighting and heating to music and media.
(Even the blinds are controllable, making you feel like a character in a Bond movie!)
If you can tear your gaze away from those incredible views, you can snuggle up on thebespoke-designed sofa, in front of the huge, Netflix-and-Amazon-Prime-equipped Smart TV, or fire up a Spotify playlist and get lost in conversation with your loved one.
Yet we're willing to bet you'll spend most of your time outside, unwinding with a glass of bubbles at your pod's private al fresco seating area. Complete with an award-winning Solo firepit, where you can experience the fun of toasting the complimentary marshmallows, as the stars make their glittering appearance overhead.
If you can manage it, rise from your floating kingsize bed extra-early, prepare a Nespresso coffee, and greet the incredible sunrise. Then, after a delicious home-cooked breakfast, it's time to immerse yourselves in Arran's many unique delights...
...whether that's watching the abundant wildlife, spoiling a good walk on the golf courses, sampling more of that outstanding local produce, or even conquering a mountain!
Things to note
One well-behaved, small-to-medium sized dog is welcome in two of the pods, each with its own gated enclosed garden areas.
