African safari style meets Australia’s unrivalled scenery at Paperbark Camp, where not only will you enjoy a truly memorable stay, you’ll be greeted with a welcome that’s almost as warm as the sun.
The eco-friendly, family-run camp was originally inspired by the owners’ travels to Africa, and the spacious safari tents to be found there. Now at the forefront of luxury camping in Australia, Paperbark Camp is uniquely known for its mouthwatering cuisine (served in an architect-designed treetop dining room), stylish tents and a beautiful bushland setting on Jervis Bay, complete with white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters just a couple of minutes away by car (or 15 minutes by bike if you are feeling more energetic!).
You’ll find twelve spacious, safari-style tents at Paperbark Camp, all of which are elevated to ensure you make the most of the refreshing sea breeze and soothing views of towering namesake paperbarks.
Whether you choose an Original tent, a Deluxe tent or – for a special treat – a King Deluxe tent, you’ll enjoy plenty of safari-style comfort. Soft linen, polished hardwood flooring and solar-powered lighting welcome you, and the tents each feature their own open-air, private en-suites. The piping hot shower is an ideal place for bird and kangaroo watching as you lather up with the hand-made toiletries provided, then cocoon yourself in a soft gown.
Meanwhile, wrap-around decking, complete with cosy furniture, makes for a scenic position to watch the sun rising and setting, as you reconnect with your loved ones amongst the very best of nature.
If you’re in the mood for extra indulgence, the Deluxe and King Deluxe tents come complete with a freestanding bath and sumptuous furnishings. While the Original and Deluxe tents sleep two people in comfort, the King Deluxe tent can sleep up to six people…or couples who appreciate the luxury of extra space under canvas!
Paperbark Camp has been proudly awarded Advanced Eco Accreditation, and as such you won’t find mod-cons such as fridges, power points or televisions in your tent. This is your chance to really switch off from everyday life and get back to nature, so make the most of it!
