A mere two-hour drive from bustling Sydney, you’ll feel as though you’ve entered a blissful new world as you arrive at Broger’s End.

Accredited by EcoTourism Australia, and beautifully set on a 160-acre working farm with permaculture gardens, you’ll be surrounded by invigorating green views in every direction. Simply head across the field for an energising dip in the Kangaroo River, or indulge in some wondrous mountain bush walking trails, right from your front door.

You’ll find two rustic, solar-powered dwellings here; The Shed, a luxuriously large haven with three double bedrooms, and The Dairy, ideal for a couple (with a sofa bed for extra guests).

The Shed, an aptly-named conversion of the farm shed, has been lovingly transformed into a spacious and creative retreat, using recycled and reclaimed materials wherever possible. The décor and cosy furnishings follow a similar theme, with a gorgeous mix of ornate and rustic throughout.

The large, light-filled living area is the ideal catch-up spot, complete with crackling wood fire and a well-equipped kitchen.  Pour your favourite drinks, then head to the attached open-plan bay area, which features a pool table, pizza oven and barbecue.

Later on, head upstairs to claim your favourite from the irresistibly comfy bedrooms on offer.

The 70 year-old Dairy was once a milking shed, and features three sets of French doors that were used to let in three cows to be milked at once! These days, those stunning doors open up the living area beautifully, allowing access to the wisteria vine-covered, al-fresco dining area.
