Looking for a tranquil rural setting to relax and reconnect in?  Then you’ll find The Hideaways perfectly positioned in an idyllic ten-acre meadow just a short drive from the Jurassic Coast.

The handcrafted Hideaways themselves are named The Hide and The Nook; former shipping containers designed and converted by friendly owner Callum himself (with a little help from friends and family!)

Whichever Hideaway you choose, the result is a private and beautifully scenic home-from-home, filled with thoughtful touches and little luxuries that will make you feel welcome as soon as you step inside.  Furniture, fixtures and fittings have been handcrafted from indulgent materials, including walnut or oak kitchen work surfaces, antique chairs, a bespoke breakfast bar and stools made from 150-year-old pine, and bathroom tiles imported from Italy or Portugal.

Discover a cosy lounge at the centre of your chosen cabin, equipped with a squishy sofa bed and a crackling woodburner.  You’ll find plenty of bespoke furnishings here too, including handmade birch ply shelving, and thoughtful additions that include books, games and a Bluetooth speaker.  There’s a wall-mounted TV too, complete with Freeview, Netflix, and Amazon Prime apps, to keep you entertained by evening.

Wander along to the well-equipped kitchen, which features delights including a Nespresso machine for morning coffee and evening hot chocolate.  Feast on those endless rolling countryside views as you sit outside at the hand-crafted oak table or bench, or inside at the breakfast bar.

You’ll find your kingsize, linen-dressed bed on a raised platform, perfect for waking up to rolling countryside views.  Your bathroom is home to a refreshing power shower, complimentary toiletries and plenty of fluffy towels.  You’ll also find robes and slippers provided, for that extra touch of indulgence!

Out on your private enclosed decking, everything has been set up for you to enjoy long, lazy sunny afternoons al fresco, including a barbecue for sizzling suppers, a hammock for reading amongst birdsong, and an outdoor sofa and subtle mood lighting, for you to enjoy the first stars in the evening sky (after-dinner tipple optional!)  Oh, and not forgetting the bespoke sauna and hot tub, for relaxation at its most sumptuous.
