Detox from digital life in a bespoke, lovingly hand-built cabin with a dreamy outdoor bath, set within an enchanting Welsh meadow close to Aberystwyth.
  • Sleeps: 2
  • Bedroom: 1
  • Bathroom: 1
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

Meaning “charming meadow” in English, Dôl Swynol couldn’t be more aptly named.

Beautifully positioned in its own orchard, full of wildflowers, the hand-built cabin resides in the corner of a large, tranquil meadow with a shimmering stream running through.

Although bustling Aberystwyth is just eight miles away, you’ll feel like the only two people in the world as you arrive, souls all ready to switch off from the digital world and relax in the arms of nature.

You’ll be greeted with a welcome basket of essentials to get you started. Other mouth-watering treats, including home-baked cakes using eggs from the hens you’ll see wandering in the orchard, a tasty deli picnic, and breakfast items fresh from the local butcher can be ordered as extras.

Inside the cheery, colourful cabin also awaits a cosy sofa, with a ready supply of Welsh woollen blankets and butter-soft sheepskin rugs… simply open a bottle of wine and light the woodburning stove for a ridiculously snuggly evening in.

You’ll find the spacious kitchen gainfully equipped with stylish copper worktops, a two-ring gas hob and a Remoska, a compact cooker that resembles a Dutch oven. Oh, and not forgetting the all-important fridge, kettle, and toaster!

On sunny evenings, you may feel more like relaxing on the covered verandah, enjoying a sizzling barbecue supper, or firing up the wood-burning chimenea and getting lost in conversation until the stars make their appearance in the dark night sky.
