We hear you, which is why we’ve teamed up with the Fitzhead Inn Private Pub to offer the chance of a fun, free, two-night lock-in for up to ten people…
…hosted by none other than YOU!
Situated in a rural Somerset village (far away from the crowds), and surrounded by designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Fitzhead is a charming 17th century English pub that sleeps up to ten lucky guests – plus the dogs!
Not only will you and your chosen guests have five comfy, en-suite bedrooms to choose from, you can whip up your favourite, farm-fresh pub grub in the fully equipped commercial kitchen, pull pints in the fully operational bar, or simply relax in front of the log-burner and TV with a refreshing G&T.
(There’s even a Mediterranean courtyard and barbecue to help you enjoy any stray sunshine!)
The lucky winner can enjoy their lock-in on two chosen, consecutive nights from 6th September to 30th November 2020 (exclusions apply).

Competition closes at 11.59pm GMT on Sunday 28th June 2020. By entering this competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Any information or instructions published by Host Unusual on hostunusual.com or our social media channels forms part of these terms and conditions.

Host Unusual shall not be liable for any interruption to this competition, whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond our control.
Entrants must residents of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and be over 18 years of age.
Entering the competition
Participants may enter the competition online via the competition post on our Facebook page. Entry is free and participants may only enter once. For those who do not use Facebook, you may enter by emailing [email protected] with the title: Fitzhead Inn Comp and your answer to the question: What is your favourite thing about going to the pub?
Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party other than those specified above.
No responsibility is accepted by the Host Unusual or its associates for lost, delayed or damaged data which occurs during any communication or transmission of entries.
The Prize
The prize is a 2 night stay for up to 10 guests (and their dogs!) at the Fitzhead Inn Private Pub in Somerset. The stay can be taken on any two consecutive nights between 6/9/2020 up to 30/11/2020 (excluding 26/10 to 1/11 2020)
All guests must be over 18 years of age to stay. The winner will be drawn at random under independent supervision from all valid entries received. The winner will be notified by email within 3 working days and will have 7 days from the date the notification was sent to claim their prize.
In the event that a winner is unreachable, ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within the timescale required, the winner shall forfeit their prize and the Host Unusual reserves the right to offer the prize to another participant of the competition.
The prize is not transferable and there is no cash alternative.
Host Unusual reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions or cancel the competition at any stage in the event of circumstances arising beyond its control.
By entering the competition, entrants will be deemed to be bound by and have accepted these terms and conditions, and Host Unusual reserves the right to disqualify participants who it considers to have not complied with any of these terms and conditions; or any participant who it reasonably believes has interfered with the fair running of this Promotion.
This prize draw will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. By participating the participants agree that any and all disputes regarding this competition will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
