Filled with rich heritage, and a distinct culture that’s all its own, Yorkshire’s dramatic Roman and Viking past can be clearly viewed from its Norman castles and medieval abbeys. Meanwhile, you can shop ‘til you drop in the cities, including Leeds – the ‘Knightsbridge of the North’.
(Oh – and did we mention there’s a magnificent coastline and two National Parks to explore, too?)
