New to Host Unusual: Rural and rustic retreats to relax the mind

27 December 2018

We approach the year end with a celebration of compact and rustic hideaways in beautiful rural settings, and what a collection they are too!

From a wagon hideaway with a splash of contemporary flair along the Kent and East Sussex Railway, to a nearby family-friendly Treehouse also not too far from historic Bodiam.

In Scotland, we discover two unique stone-built hobbit houses with colourful round doors, and over in Wales, two equally sublime bespoke-crafted shepherd hut retreats – one close to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and the other in stunning Monmouthshire.
