Wolds Wine Estate is a family-run vineyard in the peaceful Nottinghamshire Wolds, surrounded by rural loveliness (and of course, exceptional bottles of wine!).

The estate is also home to four luxurious, privately-spaced glamping pods that are perfect for couples and families in search of an out-of-the-ordinary break. Each pod comes complete with private facilities and toasty heating, tasteful Alpine-style interiors, and a sun deck for quaffing a chilled summertime glass or two.

Pinot Noir and Solaris are one-bedroom pods, while Rondo and Chardonnay each boast both a double bedroom and a second twin or double, for small families or groups of friends. There’s plenty of al fresco space for the kids (big or little!) to play in, and a wealth of tempting Wolds walks just outside the door. Slightly further afield await delights that include local markets, golf, and indulgent spa days.

Rather stay on site? The vineyard’s café is especially crafted to showcase rolling, panoramic views that stretch across the vineyard and cider orchard, serving delicious dishes that make good use of the region’s abundant produce. Why not order a mouth-watering meat and cheese platter, and spend an afternoon deep in laughter-fuelled conversation… the kind that’s all but impossible to find time for back at home?
