A unique and special village, Doolin is not only situated on the ruggedly beautiful Wild Atlantic Way, it’s also the gateway to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren and Aran Islands.
Doolin also happens to be the home of traditional Irish music; a vibrant, characterful, and warmly welcoming hub where there’s plenty of craic to be had for those in the mood!
Just a few minutes’ walk from the heart of the village, you’ll discover Wild Meadow Huts nestled in the soothing hollow of a wildflower meadow. Exclusively for adults, the focus here is firmly upon relaxation and reconnection… with nature and each-other.
A true family business, hospitality experts Anne and Conor, and their daughter Amy, are very keen to share their “little piece of heaven” with guests. As such, they’ve seen to it that your every holiday comfort is taken care of.
You’ll find your luxury shepherd’s hut gainfully equipped with delights that range from a downy kingsize bed with an award-winning Emma mattress, and a fully-fitted kitchen with an espresso machine, to a private, festoon-lit deck that showcases the most mesmerising natural views.
Oh, and you’ll also have access to the dedicated relaxation deck, which features hot and cold Ofuro tubs – traditional Japanese full-body soaking tubs for two – and an al fresco firepit to help you see in the stars.
What else? You’ll be provided with fluffy cotton towels and bathrobes to wrap yourselves up in after that dreamy soak, while your bed will be topped with snuggly Irish handwoven blankets. Each hut also boasts private en-suite facilities, so there’ll be no cross-legged queuing in the dark.

What the guests of Wild Meadow Huts say
“A piece of heaven in Doolin. We are just back from the wild meadow huts and from start to finish they were absolutely amazing, the hosts definitely went the extra mile to care for their guests, we can’t wait to return very soon.”
“Fantastic location, great for a couples getaway. I went for an anniversary and wanted somewhere with a hot tub that was close to the cliffs. Chatted to our hosts who were very friendly and provided information about local car parks to visit the cliffs. Very cosy inside the cabins themselves, it was stormy weather for us but they weren’t cold. Would highly recommend for couples, five stars!”
