Boasting 70 “sublimely beautiful”, wildlife-steeped acres of Cotswold countryside, Westley Farm has featured in many a prominent publication, including The Sunday Times and the Daily Telegraph.
This is hardly surprising, since the farm offers the ultimate setting for an idyllic rural escape. Each of the three stone cottages you’ll discover here blend traditional elements, such as flagstone floors and open fires, with modern luxury, as well as showcasing those rolling green views to perfection.
And since each cottage is privately secluded, with no immediate neighbours but the local wildlife, you can enjoy reconnecting with your loved ones in peaceful comfort.
Jackdaw Cottage (sleeps 4)
Enclosed by a traditional Cotswold dry stone wall, and boasting a private wood-fired hot tub with views that stretch all the way to the distant hillside villages, Jackdaw Cottage is a blissfully secluded hideaway.
You’ll discover this romantic retreat at the end of a winding farm track, under whispering oak and ash trees. Enter through the stable door, and feel as though you’ve stepped into a new world… one that’s sumptuously furnished with sheepskin rugs, Egyptian cotton sheets, and colourful fabrics.
Cockshutt Cottage (sleeps 4)
Expertly converted from a stone barn, Cockshutt Cottage is a serene chocolate-box retreat, with a sweet-scented flower garden on one side, and rolling hills on the other.
Beamed ceilings and flagstone flooring will make you feel perfectly cosy, particularly when you light the log fire for a snuggly evening in. After a sound night’s sleep, you can welcome in the sunrise from the east-facing patio, then grab a basket and pick some cherries in the lawned garden.
