Now, you’ll find this particular Unimog parked on the scenic lake, boasting bright-pink interiors, sleek facilities, and laid-back furnishings that can accommodate two lucky guests.

Making excellent use of the space inside, there’s comfy bench seating and a foldaway table that’s ideal for enjoying snacks and drinks, and which can be cleverly stored under the seats when not in use.

There’s a wall-mounted Smart TV to keep you entertained on rainy days, and cooking facilities that mean you can rustle up the aforementioned snacks and light meals (yes, there’s also that holiday essential: a kettle!) And in case you’re worried about keeping warm on chilly nights, there’s plenty of insulation and an electric heater that means you’ll be perfectly toasty.

Where will you sleep? When you’re ready, simply transform the bench seating into a snuggly double bed.

After a sound night’s sleep, freshen up in the sparkling clean shower block just by the lake, and then it’s onto the excitement of planning the day ahead.

You’ll certainly have plenty of options! Perhaps you’ll start with a walk or bike-ride to explore the green surroundings in the local area, or visit the nearby Lincolnshire Wildlife Park, where the brave-hearted can book an experience to feed the resident Bengal tigers up close.

The local area in Skegness is packed with friendly pubs and restaurants –  a famed seaside town that offers a mean fish ‘n’ chip supper!

Please note that this pod has no keys, so anything left inside is at guests’ own risk. Parking is two minutes’ walk away, though there is a service road to the Unimog to drop off luggage.
