Meaning “house of Ash” in native Welsh, Ty’r Onnen is a ridiculously romantic treehouse that has been featured in an array of prestigious publications, such as The Times’ Romantic Boltholes, and Countryfile Magazine’s Romantic Places to Stay.
It’s easy to see why. The eco-friendly treehouse – built from locally sourced timber – enjoys a magical location, secluded amongst sheep-dotted organic farmland, Ceredigion countryside, and spectacular rolling hills, meaning you’ll feel blissfully isolated from the rest of the world.
With solar powered lighting and a stream running alongside, this is an ideal setting for a digital detox, relaxing and reconnecting with the one you love the most.
Bespoke-designed facilities include a fully-equipped kitchen – with a gas-powered oven and welcome treats – and a beautifully crafted en-suite wet room with a flushing loo.
(On sunny mornings and star-studded evenings, you might prefer freshening up in the heavenly al fresco waterfall shower instead… though be warned, you may never want to shower inside again!)
Snuggle up in front of the log burner and watch the natural world go by through the folding patio doors, or throw them open to enjoy a romantic supper in the pure, open air. Later, why not wander down to the firepit, and get lost in laughter-fuelled conversation as you toast a few marshmallows?
When it’s finally time to turn in, the downy kingsize bed all but guarantees a sound night’s sleep.
