  • Bedrooms: 1 per treehouse
  • Bathrooms: 1 per treehouse
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

An adults-only romantic escape in Worcestershire, Treeopia occupies four beautiful, wildlife-steeped acres of a former medieval farmstead, steeped in wildlife and infused with fascinating history.

Step into a world of wonder created by owners John and Nicki, who fell head-over-heels in love with this deeply magical location. Their vision was to craft an intimate haven where couples can reconnect while immersed in nature’s embrace, with romance in every detail.

The result is Treeopia: a duo of luxury, adults-only treehouses that have won awards for their ethical craftsmanship. Lovingly hewn from and around two specially-chosen mature woodland trees, each occupies its very own space, for a blissful sense of leaving hectic everyday life far behind.

Simply wander along the tree-lined driveway, past the stunning medieval farmhouse, to your private treetop hideaway: Vivianna, overlooking a shimmering lake, or Eathelin, nestled in a fairytale woodland dell.

Whichever you choose, there will be a sheltered, private hot tub perfectly heated for your arrival, and fluffy robes to wrap yourselves up in. Inside, sumptuous butter-soft furnishings complement soft wooden interiors, medieval-inspired arched windows, and sleek accessories. Toasty underfloor heating and bespoke glass wall artwork – including a hand-blown glass art fire with animated flames – add to the sumptuous feeling of cosiness throughout.

What else? There’s a superking bed dressed in luxurious linens for sound nights of sleep, and a bespoke, well-equipped kitchen for woodland feast preparation (though with a Michelin-starred restaurant a short drive away, you may choose to treat yourselves to a gourmet meal you didn’t have to cook!)

Oh, and there will also be a delectable welcome pack waiting for you, full of artisan goodies including cheeses and crackers, chocolates, Worcestershire honey, local apple juice… and not one but three types of ground coffee.

More information

Meanwhile your gleaming, freestanding copper bath is ideal for indulgent evening bubble-soaks. You’ll also have a revitalising power shower – the perfect way to freshen up after a lazy lie-in or a long country walk.

Should you tire of lazing inside or out on your scenic balcony, just a short wander away is your own firepit and barbecue area: a true woodland oasis from which to watch the emerging stars appearing in the darkened sky. The treehouses themselves light beautifully up at night, too, to create idyllic night-time scenes.

It’ll be devilishly difficult to leave this private slice of rural paradise. But if you’re able to manage it there’s plenty to see and do close by, from ‘England’s prettiest town’ of Ludlow to a nostalgic trip on the Severn Valley Steam Railway – the choice is yours.

You could also choose to take a long woodland walk, go wildlife-spotting, or savour a romantic picnic without leaving the dreamy confines of Treeopia at all.

The property website includes a full accessibility guide for both treehouses – please check for details. Along with allocated private parking for two cars per treehouse, there is a super-fast EV charging point available. What the guests of Treeopia say

“A unique and special place in a beautiful location, so peaceful and great for relaxing. Clean and cosy and we especially enjoyed the local cheeses and chocolates that had been left for us. The hot tub is private and was ready for us to use when we arrived. We took advantage of the lazy Sunday, the late check out, so that we didn’t have to rush on departure day. We had lunch out on the Saturday at one of the recommend pubs which was superb, but other than that ate in the treehouse, which had all the cooking utensils you could need. We would definitely return, just lovely to spend quality time as a couple in such a gorgeous place.”

“Just had a fantastic stay at Treeopia in Eathelin. Blown away by the location and the high quality of the treehouse. Exceeded every expectation. Pure luxury and amazing attention to detail. Craftsmanship at its highest level. Welcome pack of cheese and nibbles went down a treat. Everything was perfect! Nicki was available to answer any questions. We had such a relaxing stay. Sitting in the hot tub early in the morning watching the sunrise was magical. Highly highly recommend for a chilled-out getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Tenbury Wells has everything you could need for your stay from pubs, cafes, shops. Ludlow is not far away and there is even more to see there. But to be honest, you won’t want to leave the place! Everyone at Treeopia was very welcoming. Can’t wait to return!”

“Treeopia is one of the most tranquil and beautiful places I’ve ever been. We spent 4 nights in Vivianna and came back feeling thoroughly rested and restored. The location is idyllic, nestled in woodland next to lakes and streams, with all kinds of wildlife on the doorstep. The treehouse itself is stunning – the attention to detail and the craftsmanship is superb – and the interior is warm and extremely comfortable. On the second day I booked our next stay – what higher praise can there be than loving something so much, so quickly?”
